Two for Three: New Trier hoops returns to state, brings home 3rd once again

New Trier boys basketball and their friends invaded the University of Illinois’ State Farm Center on Friday, March 8, for the IHSA Class 4A championships.

The Trevians collected their second straight third-place trophy after falling to eventual champs Homewood-Flossmoor, 40-35, and defeating Palatine 53-35.
