Sunny side up: On idyllic spring day, hundreds of children (and dozens of dogs) enjoy egg hunts

After a year off, the Wilmette and Winnetka park districts welcomed families back to an annual Easter tradition: the egg hunt.

In Wilmette, children and pooches scrambled around Gillson Park searching for goodie-filled eggs, while in Winnetka families enjoyed a petting zoo, the Easter Bunny and an egg hunt.
