Respect and Honor: Memorial Day events pay tribute to the fallen

North Shore communities commemorated Memorial Day on Monday, May 29.

Wilmette and Winnetka each held parades featuring first-responders, community groups and town officials. They were followed by ceremonies to honor those who died while serving with the United States armed forces.
