Hockey Rivals Battle in Blackhawks Series

The New Trier and Loyola hockey rivalry again heated up the ice on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 10-11, at Heartland Ice Arena in Lincolnwood.

The boys (Dec. 10) and girls (Dec. 11) squads faced off in rivalry games as part of the Blackhawks Rivalry Series. In the boys matchup, Loyola Gold topped New Trier Green 4-1 to avenge an early-season loss to Green.

In the girls game, New Trier pulled out the victory.
