Crash kills 2 in Highland Park
Two people are dead following a car crash in Highland Park on Saturday afternoon, according to the City of Highland Park.
The city’s police department responded to the crash at 3:05 p.m. at the intersection of Route 41 and Park Avenue, where a car traveling north on Route 41 reportedly collided with a car turning left toward southbound Route 41.
As a result of the crash, three individuals were transported to the hospital, and two of them were pronounced dead, according to the City.
The intersection was shut down for at least four hours, according to the City’s social media alerts.
