Police Reports: Gun incident at Indian Hill; thousands in stolen construction equipment

WINNETKA
May 4
• An employee of Indian Hill Club was arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at a coworker’s head inside the club, 1 Indian Hill Road, in Winnetka. The man was charged with aggravated assault after, witnesses reportedly told police, he got into an argument with a colleague for displaying a gun and then pointed the gun at the colleague before leaving in a car at around 2 a.m. He reportedly was arrested by Lake Zurich Police outside of his home later that morning and transferred into Cook County Sheriff Department custody.
May 9
• Approximately $4,000 worth of construction equipment reportedly was stolen overnight from the construction site near Lincoln Avenue and Elm Street.
May 6
• Cigarettes reportedly were stolen from the gas station at 1024 Tower Road.
May 4
• Construction equipment worth $545 reportedly was taken between May 2-4 from a construction site at Lincoln Avenue and Elm Street.
• Two hydrangea bushes reportedly were stolen from in front of a home in the 600 block of Ash Street.
WILMETTE
May 10
• A doorbell camera reportedly was stolen from the 3100 block of Cranston Court.
May 9
• A gun reportedly was stolen May 5 from a home in the 100 block of Prairie Avenue. An individual was arrested May 6 in Chicago for allegedly being in possession of that gun.
May 8
• A bicycle reportedly was stolen from a bike rack in the 700 block of Green Bay Road.
May 4
• A locked bicycle reportedly was stolen from a bike rack in the 700 block of Green Bay Road.
GLENCOE
No incidents reported April 29-May 6 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.
HIGHLAND PARK
May 10
• Items valued at $414 reportedly were stolen from Jewel, 1600 Deerfield Road.
• A wallet reportedly was stolen from a customer inside Sunset Foods, 1812 Green Bay Road.
May 8
• A car window reportedly was shattered in the 900 block of Augusta Way.
May 7
• Items and $10 reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in the 300 block of Central Avenue.
NORTHFIELD
May 8
• A car reportedly was stolen from a business in the 600 block of W. Frontage Road.
KENILWORTH
May 3
• An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen between April 25-May 3 from a fenced yard in the 300 block of Melrose Avenue.
SKOKIE
May 2
• A car reportedly was stolen from the 5200 block of George Street .
• A car reportedly was stolen from the 8400 block of Linder Court.
• Skokie police took three reports of burglaries to a building in the 9400 block of Skokie Boulevard.
May 1
• A firearm reportedly was recklessly discharged in the 9300 block of Keeler Avenue on May 1.
April 30
• A car reportedly was stolen from the 9000 block of Keating Avenue.
