Police Reports: Business burglaries in Highland Park, car thefts in Kenilworth and Winnetka

The following reports were pulled from the latest incident summaries provided by law enforcement departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth, Glencoe and Skokie).

WILMETTE

No reported incidents between March 16-22 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.

WINNETKA

March 22

• An unlocked car reportedly was stolen from a driveway in the 600 block of Prospect Avenue and later recovered in another community.

• A purse reportedly was stolen overnight from an unlocked car in a driveway in the 800 block of Prospect Avenue.

GLENCOE

March 14

• An individual was arrested twice on March 14 for allegedly trespassing in the 500 block of Longwood.

HIGHLAND PARK

March 20

• A grill reportedly was damaged and a dead fish reportedly was left on the deck of a property in the 1600 block of Snapdragon Court.

• Merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.

March 19

• Merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.

March 18

• A package reportedly was stolen from a porch in the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue S.

March 17

• Merchandise reportedly was stolen from Binny’s Beverage Depot, 153 Skokie Valley Road.

March 17

• Merchandise (valued at $76) reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.

March 16

• Three freezer compressors (valued at $1,500) reportedly were stolen from Mizrahi Market, 300 Skokie Valley Road.

NORTHFIELD

No reports submitted by press time (Tuesday, March 23).

KENILWORTH

March 14

• Two cars reportedly were stolen from a driveway in the 100 block of Oxford and recovered in Evanston. According to the report, both cars were unlocked with the keys inside and were located using tracking devices attached to the keys.

SKOKIE

March 19

• A building reportedly was burglarized sometime between March 17-19 in the 8900 block of Bronx Avenue.

March 16

• A residence reportedly was burglarized sometime between March 13-16 in the 9300 block of Springfield Avenue.

• Two incidents of arson reportedly took place between March 13-16 in the 5400-5500 block of Touhy Avenue in Skokie.

March 15

• A car reportedly was stolen sometime between March 13-15 from the 10000 block of Skokie Boulevard.

• Police arrested a 32-year-old for allegedly burglarizing a building on March 15 in the 9400 block of Skokie Boulevard.

March 14

• Property reportedly was stolen from a car in the 3600 block of Touhy Avenue.

March 13

• A car reportedly was burglarized in the 8000 block of Kilpatrick Avenue.

March 11

• A car reportedly was burglarized in the 9300 block of Gross Point Road.

• A car reportedly was burglarized in the 9000 block of Bronx Avenue.
