Police Reports: Package thefts, music store burglaries and car burglaries

The following reports were pulled from the latest incident summaries provided by law enforcement departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth, Glencoe and Skokie).

WILMETTE

Jan. 30

• Packages reportedly were stolen from a porch in the 700 block of Linden Avenue.

Jan. 29

• Several items reportedly were stolen from a business in the 3200 block of Lake Avenue.

WINNETKA

Jan. 26

• An unlocked car reportedly was broken into overnight in a driveway in the 900 block of Ash Street.

GLENCOE

No incidents reported between Jan. 21-28

HIGHLAND PARK

Feb. 1

• Several pieces of jewelry reportedly were stolen from a home in the 1700 block of Lake Cook Road.

Jan. 31

The contents of a package reportedly were stolen after it was dropped off for delivery.

Jan. 29

• Three drums valued at $1,930 reportedly were stolen from Guitar Center, 143 Skokie Valley Road.

Jan. 26

• Nearly $200 in merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.

NORTHFIELD

No reported incidents that meet The Record’s standards for publication.

KENILWORTH

Jan. 26

• An individual reportedly fraudulently charged $3,000 to a resident’s Apple Cash card.

SKOKIE

Feb. 3

• Two cars reportedly were burglarized sometime between Jan. 28-29 in the 4800 block of Hull Street.

• A car reportedly was burglarized on Jan. 29 from the 5000 block of Fargo Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized on Jan. 29 in the 4900 block of Louise Avenue.

• An aggravated assault involving the use of a firearm or device reportedly took place on Jan. 29 in the 4900 block of Hull Street.

• Property reportedly was stolen from a car sometime between Jan. 27-Jan. 28 in the 9500 block of Skokie Boulevard.
