Police Reports: Stolen vehicles in Wilmette, robbery in Northfield

The following reports were pulled from the latest incident summaries provided by law enforcement departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe).

WILMETTE

Aug. 31

• A car reportedly struck several parked cars in a parking lot in the 300 block of Linden Avenue. Two occupants, including the driver, of the car reportedly were found on the Linden CTA platform and taken into custody. The car reportedly was stolen earlier that day in Robbins, Illinois.

Aug. 28

• A car that reportedly was stolen from Wilmette and fled from Wilmette officers was found in Morton Grove. An individual was arrested by Morton Grove police. Police reportedly recovered an item that was stolen from another car in Wilmette.

Aug. 25

• Items reportedly were stolen from a store in the 800 block of Green Bay Road.

WINNETKA

Sept. 1

• A Village lightpole and roadway reportedly were defaced at Hibbard and Hill roads.

GLENCOE

Aug. 22

• Two individuals were arrested for allegedly robbing and damaging a home in the 300 block of Palos Road.

HIGHLAND PARK

Aug. 29

• Multiple items reportedly were stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.

Aug. 26

• An item reportedly was stolen from an unlocked car in the 1300 block of Sunnyside Avenue.

NORTHFIELD

Aug. 29

• A resident reportedly was robbed outside of a business in the 1700 block of Northfield Square.

Aug. 27

• A home reportedly was burglarized in the 500 block of N. Happ Road.

KENILWORTH
