Police Reports: Smashed car windows at country club; stolen cars and bicycles

The following reports were pulled from the latest incident summaries provided by law enforcement departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth, Glencoe and Skokie).

WILMETTE

June 25

• A wallet reportedly was stolen from an unlocked car in the early evening in the 200 block of Fourth Street.

June 18

• Three packages reportedly were stolen from outside a home in the 500 block of Meadow Drive West.

June 17

• A locked bicycle reportedly was stolen from the 700 block of Green Bay Road.

June 16

• An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen between June 10-11 from a bike rack in the 500 block of Hunter Road.

• An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen from the 900 block of Michigan Avenue.

WINNETKA

June 28

• A backpack and its contents reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in a driveway in the 400 block of Hawthorn Lane.

June 22

• The contents of a package reportedly was stolen between May 28-June 15 from the 900 block of Spruce Street.

June 19

• A resident reportedly was scammed out of $1,750 by an individual purporting to represent Apple Support and requesting CVS gift cards.

GLENCOE

June 12

• Two locked cars reportedly were burglarized in the parking lot of Lake Shore Country Club, 1255 Sheridan Road. Police say the two vehicles were targeted and had windows shattered with a purse and its contents (valued at $8,800) stolen from one car and a CD case with its contents (valued at $400) stolen from the other.

HIGHLAND PARK

June 25

• Approximately $1,200 in merchandise reportedly was stolen from Ulta, 135 Skokie Valley Road.

June 24

• An iPad reportedly was stolen from Park West Medical Plaza, 1160 Park Avenue W.

• A card valued at $6,000 reportedly was stolen from a mailbox in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue.

June 22

• Multiple items reportedly were stolen from property in the 400 block of Red Oak Lane.

June 20

• An item valued at $3,000 reportedly was stolen from the 2700 block of St. Johns Avenue.

June 17

• A plant reportedly was taken and a fence reportedly was damaged on a property in the 1800 block of Linden Avenue.

NORTHFIELD

June 25

• Several large objects reportedly were discarded in the roadway in the 500 block of Sumerset Lane.

KENILWORTH

June 18

• An unlocked car reportedly was stolen overnight from a driveway in the 200 block of Oxford Road. The car reportedly was recovered at 4 a.m. June 18 in Chicago

• An unlocked car reportedly was stolen overnight from a driveway in the 600 block of Essex Road and recovered at 4:50 a.m. June 18 in Chicago.

SKOKIE

June 25

• A car reportedly was burglarized in the 8100 block of Lawndale Avenue.

• Two cars reportedly were burglarized in the 8100 block of Ridgeway Avenue.

June 24

• A car reportedly was burglarized in the 8300 block of St. Louis Avenue.

• Property reportedly was stolen sometime between June 23-24 from a car in the 4000 block of Madison Street

• Property reportedly was stolen from a car on June 20 in the 4900 block of Louise Avenue

June 23

• A car reportedly was stolen from the 8900 block of Kolmar Avenue.

• Property reportedly was stolen from a car overnight in the 8700 block of St. Louis Avenue.

June 22

• A building in the 5300 block of Old Orchard Road reportedly was burglarized.

• Property reportedly was stolen from a car sometime between June 15-22 in the 3300 block of Howard Street.

June 19

An aggravated battery to a correctional or Department of Human Services employee reportedly took place at Endeavor Health Hospital on June 19.

June 18

• Property reportedly was stolen from a car in the 4800 block of Searle Parkway.

June 13

• Two cars reportedly were burglarized in the 3300 block of Dempster Street.

June 12

• Property reportedly was stolen on May 29 from a car in the 3200 block of Howard Street.
