Police Reports: Firearms-related arrests in Wilmette and Skokie; car burglaries and thefts
The following reports were pulled from the latest incident summaries provided by law enforcement departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth, Glencoe and Skokie).
WILMETTE
Dec. 7
• Items reportedly were stolen from a bedroom in a home in the 2800 block of Old Glenview Road.
Dec. 6
• An individual was arrested at the CTA station on Linden Avenue for allegedly waving around a pistol and threatening a CTA worker.
Dec. 4
• An individual reportedly stolen an item and threatened a worker at a store in the 400 block of Linden Avenue.
Dec. 2
• A man was arrested at the Metra station, 722 Green Bay Road, on a warrant for allegedly failing to appear in court. Police responded to a report that man was threatening people at the station.
WINNETKA
No reported incidents between Dec. 2-8 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.
GLENCOE
Dec. 3
• A car reportedly was stolen from a driveway in the 300 block of Adams Avenue.
HIGHLAND PARK
Dec. 5
• A box containing personal items reportedly was stolen from near the curb in the 1700 block of Green Bay Road.
Dec. 4
• Highland Park police arrested two men following an alleged home burglary in the 1100 block of Hilary Lane.
• Two tires reportedly were stolen from a shed at Audi Exchange, 2490 Skokie Valley Road.
Dec. 3
• More than $100 in merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.
NORTHFIELD
No reported incidents between Dec. 1-7 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.
KENILWORTH

SKOKIE
Dec. 4
• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 1-4:06 p.m. on Dec. 4 in the 4700 block of Golf Road.
Nov. 29
• A car reportedly was stolen sometime in the early-morning hours of Nov. 29 in the 9800 block of Keystone Avenue.
• Police arrested a 22-year-old man around 1:49 a.m. on Nov. 2 for reportedly possessing more than 100 grams of cannabis with the intent to manufacture and deliver the cannabis, and unlawfully possessing a weapon in the 3200 block of Oakton Street.
Nov. 28
• A car reportedly was stolen sometime around 10:14 p.m. on Nov. 28 in the 8900 block of Bronx Avenue.
Nov. 26
• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime overnight in the 9600 block of Tripp Avenue.
• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime in the early morning hours of Nov. 26 in the 9300 block of Weber Avenue.
