New Trier 58, Maine South 27
The Trevians (4-1) opened their conference season with a resounding victory on Thursday, Dec. 4, in Park Ridge.
Loyola 80, Providence St. Mel 42
Sam Golden scored 16 points in his season debut for the Ramblers (5-0) on Monday, Dec. 1.
Luke Alvarez added 12 points for Loyola.
New Trier 69, Mount Carmel 39
The Trevians took care of the Caravan in the final game of the New Trier-Loyola Thanksgiving tournament on Saturday, Nov. 29, in Wilmette.
Loyola 56, Lake Zurich 29
Trey Williams recorded a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists as the Ramblers won the New Trier-Loyola Thanksgiving championship on Saturday, Nov. 29, in Wilmette.
Brody Munson-Johnson finished with 8 points with 8 rebounds for Loyola.

Gray Kanter racked up 32 points as the Giants fell just short in the nonconference matchup on Saturday, Nov. 29.

The Giants (4-2) opened the conference schedule with a victory on Tuesday, Dec. 2, in Highland Park.

GIRLS GYMNASTICS
New Trier 132.9, Maine East 81.45
Harper Jacobs, a sophomore, won the all-around competition (34.45 points) during the Trevians’ season opener on Thursday, Dec. 4, in Northfield.
Anna Virgilli won the uneven bars (8.8) and Jacobs the other three events (floor exercise: 8.45, balance beam: 8.65, vault: 9.2) for New Trier.
