NORTHFIELD
June 16
• More than $300,000 worth of valuables reportedly were stolen from Essence of Time, a small business in a commercial complex at 540 Frontage Road. Northfield police said that four masked and gloved individuals broke into the office building via a rear door and entered Essence of Time’s suite by climbing over ceiling tiles. The individuals also reportedly cut the cable to the suite’s security system before stealing a “substantial quantity” of watches, cameras and handbags.
WILMETTE
June 25
• A car window reportedly was shattered in the 1500 block of Maple Avenue.
June 23
• A catalytic converter reportedly was stolen from a car parked in the 3200 block of Glenview Road.
WINNETKA
June 20
• A brick reportedly was thrown through the glass of a private lamp post in the 400 block of Linden Street.
GLENCOE
June 18
• Two individuals were arrested for allegedly possessing a stolen vehicle out of Gary, Indiana. The individuals were apprehended at the Tower Road exit of Interstate 94.
HIGHLAND PARK
June 25
• An item worth $2,500 reportedly was stolen or lost from a home in the 200 block of Sheridan Road between June 18-25.
• A car window reportedly was broken out in the 600 block of Pleasant Avenue.
KENILWORTH
No incidents reported between June 20-27.
