Police Reports: Multiple retail burglaries and package thefts
The following reports were pulled from the latest police summaries provided by departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe).
WILMETTE
Oct. 22
• A package reportedly was stolen in the 200 block of Woodbine Avenue.
Oct. 21
• A package reportedly was stolen on Oct. 12 from a front porch in the 600 block of Greenleaf Avenue.
Oct. 20
• Tools reportedly were stolen from a construction trailer in the 1500 block of Sheridan Road.
WINNETKA
Oct. 24
• More than $5,000 reportedly was removed from a resident’s bank account in an unauthorized transaction.
Oct. 21
• Five hundred dollars reportedly was stolen between Oct. 16-21 from a home in the 500 block of Cherry Street.
GLENCOE
No reports between Oct. 16-23 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.
HIGHLAND PARK
Oct. 26
• Approximately $1,400 in items reportedly were stolen from Jewel, 1600 Deerfield Road.
• Multiple items reportedly were taken from a home in the 600 block of Homewood Avenue.
Oct. 24
• A package reportedly was stolen from a front porch in the 400 block of Naida Terrace.
• More than $1,500 in merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.
Oct. 22
• A portion of a fence reportedly was defaced and broken in the 700 block of North Avenue.
• Approximately $70 in merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.
Oct. 21
• Approximately $70 in merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.
NORTHFIELD
No reports between Oct. 23-27 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.
KENILWORTH
No incidents reported between Oct. 18-25.
