Police Reports: Reports of stolen car, golf clubs and jewelry in separate incidents

The following reports were pulled from the latest police summaries provided by departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe).

WILMETTE

Sept. 15

• Golf clubs reportedly were stolen between Sept. 13-15 from a trunk of a car in the 400 block of Green Bay Road.

• Train cars reportedly were graffitied in the Linden Avenue CTA station.

Sept. 11

• Liquor reportedly was stolen from a business in the 3200 block of Lake Avenue.

Sept. 9

• Jewelry reportedly was taken from a home in the 300 block of Washington Avenue.

• A mailed check reportedly was stolen, altered and cashed.

WINNETKA

Sept. 11

• A mailed check reportedly was stolen, altered and cashed for $1,085.23.

Sept. 9

• A package valued at $3,500 reportedly was taken between 4:30-6:45 p.m. on Sept. 6 from outside a business in the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue.

GLENCOE

Sept. 10

• More than $1,700 reportedly was fraudulently removed from a resident’s bank account via automatic withdrawal.

HIGHLAND PARK

Sept. 15

• An unlocked car reportedly was stolen from the 1600 block of Sherwood Road.

Sept. 13

• Windows on at least two vehicles reportedly were shattered at Highland Park Ford, 1333 Park Ave.

Sept. 11

• Six fire extinguishers reportedly were taken from a commercial property at 799 Central Ave.

NORTHFIELD

KENILWORTH
