WILMETTE
Aug. 16
• A bicycle reportedly was stolen from an open garage in the 400 block of Greenleaf Avenue.
Aug. 14
• A man was arrested after allegedly crashing a car into a tree near Hibbard and Illinois roads, fleeing attempted traffic stops and leading police officers on a foot chase before being taken into custody.
• Credit cards and cash reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in the 100 block of Lake Avenue.
• Several items reportedly were stolen from a store in the 1500 block of Sheridan Road.
Aug. 10
• Items reportedly were stolen from a home in the 1000 block of Cherokee Road.
• A resident reportedly was scammed when they intended to purchase event tickets.
Aug. 5
• Several items reportedly were stolen from a business in the 3200 block of Lake Avenue.
• An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen from the 1600 block of Sheridan Road.
Aug. 4
• An alleged stolen car reportedly was located in the 1100 block of Dartmouth Street.
• Several electronic devices reportedly were stolen overnight from a building in the 1300 block of Sheridan Road.
• A package reportedly was stolen from a front porch in the 500 block of Ridge Road.
WINNETKA
Aug. 13
• A mailed check reportedly was stolen, altered and cashed for $900.
Aug. 10
• An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen between 7:30-8 p.m. from McDonald’s, 858 Green Bay Road.
Aug. 5
• A mailed check reportedly between July 21-Aug. 5 was stolen, altered and cashed for more than $5,000.
GLENCOE
No incidents reported between July 29-Aug. 12 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.
HIGHLAND PARK
Aug. 15
• Merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.
Aug. 14
• A lock on a portable restroom reportedly was cut off several times.
• A wagon reportedly was stolen from a property in the 1100 block of St. Johns Avenue.
Aug. 7
• A Flock license-plate-reading camera reportedly was removed from a pole near Lake Cook Road and Skokie Valley Road.
Aug. 6
• An unlocked e-bike reportedly was stolen the Braeside Metra station, 10 St. Johns Avenue.
Aug. 5
• Merchandise reportedly was stolen on Aug. 2 from Jewel, 1600 Deerfield Road.
Aug. 3
• Items valued at $2,800 reportedly were stolen from a home in the 800 block of Yale Lane.
NORTHFIELD
Aug. 7
• An individual was arrested after a car accident with injuries at Old Willow Road and Somerset Lane for allegedly driving without valid insurance, registration and a driver’s license.
KENILWORTH

SKOKIE
Aug. 14
• A building reportedly was burglarized overnight in the 5200 block of Old Orchard Road.
Aug. 13
• A car reportedly was burglarized overnight in the 9100 block of Ewing Avenue.
Aug. 10
• A car reportedly was stolen overnight from the 8000 block of Laramie Avenue.
• An aggravated assault involving the use of a firearm or device reportedly occurred in the 5300 block of Suffield Terrace.
Aug. 9
• Property was stolen overnight from a car in the 3300 block of Davis Street.
Aug. 8
• A building reportedly was burglarized in the 4300 block of Howard Street.
Aug. 7
• A building reportedly was burglarized between Aug. 5-7 in the 8300 block of Laramie Avenue.
Aug. 5
• A car reportedly was stolen between July 9-Aug. 5 from the 3200 block of Howard Street.
• A building reportedly was burglarized in the 3400 block of Touhy Avenue.
Aug. 3
• A building reportedly was burglarized in the 7300 block of Monticello Avenue.
July 25
• A building reportedly was burglarized between June 6-July 25 in the 9700 block of Woods Drive.
