Photo Story: Local food and rock take center stage at Taste of Highland Park
Thousands came through downtown Highland Park over the weekend to enjoy the flavors, sights and sounds of the town’s flagship event.

The free Taste of Highland Park featured 12 food and beverage vendors and nearly as many musical acts between Friday and Saturday, June 19-20, headlined by alternative rock band Eve 6.
For the fourth year, the Taste was held along Central Avenue, between Second Street and St. Johns Avenue, and in Port Clinton Square, 600 Central Ave, and the activity was captured for The Record by photographer Phil Bach.
