Three arrested in Glencoe as police investigate residential burglaries

The Glencoe Public Safety Department reportedly has arrested three individuals in connection with local residential burglaries. 

Glencoe officers were investigating “several possible offenders believed to be involved in committing residential burglaries” when a burglary alarm call was received on Friday, May 1, a news release from the agency states. 

With the assistance of other nearby law enforcement agencies and a helicopter, local officials created a perimeter and arrested three suspects involved in the incident, the news release states.

While the investigation remains ongoing and officers remained in the area collecting evidence throughout the overnight hours, the release says Glencoe Public Safety believes all the individuals involved in this incident are now in custody, the release states. 

The Glencoe Public Safety Department will release further information when the Cook County State’s Attorney Office approves criminal charges, the release states.
