Police Reports: Scammer arrest, package theft, car burglaries

The following reports were pulled from the latest incident summaries provided by law enforcement departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth, Glencoe and Skokie).

WILMETTE

Nov. 20

• Jewelry reportedly was taken from a home in the 1400 block of Sheridan Road.

Nov. 18

• A Wisconsin resident was arrested for allegedly defrauding and stealing from a senior citizen.

WINNETKA

Nov. 22

• Graffiti reportedly was discovered on doors and interior walls of a residential building at 817 Elm St.

GLENCOE

HIGHLAND PARK

Nov. 21

• More than $100 in merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.

Nov. 17

• A package reportedly was stolen from a front porch in the 2400 block of Tennyson Lane.

NORTHFIELD

Nov. 18

• A business in the 700 block of W. Frontage Road reported a forgery that is under investigation.

KENILWORTH

SKOKIE

Nov. 19

• At least two cars reportedly were burglarized around 2 a.m. in the 770 block of Karlov Avenue.

• An individual was arrested around 2:22 a.m. for allegedly burglarizing a car in the 7700 block of Kenneth Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized overnight in the 4900 block of Crain Street.

Nov. 17

• A car reportedly was burglarized overnight in the 4700 block of Davis Street.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime around 7:40 a.m. in the 9100 block of Gross Point Road.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime around 12:38 a.m. in the 8700 block of Drake Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized overnight in the 7700 block of Kenton Avenue.

Nov. 15

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime overnight in the 9000 block of Niles Center Road.

Nov. 14

• Someone reportedly trespassed at a residence around 1:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of Mulford Street.

• At least two buildings reportedly were burglarized in the 8700 block of Skokie Boulevard.
