Police Reports: Burglary and stolen-car arrests in Wilmette; slew of car burglaries in Skokie

The following reports were pulled from the latest incident summaries provided by law enforcement departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth, Glencoe and Skokie).

WILMETTE

Nov. 2

• An individual was arrested for allegedly burglarizing a business in the 400 block of Green Bay Road.

Oct. 29

• An individual was arrested for allegedly possessing a car stolen out of Evanston.

WINNETKA

Oct. 28

• A mailed check reportedly was stolen, altered and cashed for an amount exceeding $5,000.

GLENCOE

No reported incidents between Oct. 15-22 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.

HIGHLAND PARK

Oct. 27

• An unlocked bicycle reportedly was stolen from Walgreen’s, 655 Elm Place.

NORTHFIELD

Oct. 28-29

• Two incidents of alleged theft were reported in the 500 block of Frontage Road; however, police declined to share more details about the incidents, including what was allegedly stolen and where the alleged burglaries occurred.

KENILWORTH

No incidents reported between Oct. 24-31

SKOKIE

Oct. 27

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 1:57 a.m. and 6:55 a.m. on Oct. 27 in the 6700 block of North Ionia Avenue.

Oct. 26

• A vehicle reportedly was burglarized around 5:32 p.m. on Oct. 26 in the 5000 block of Dempster Street.

• A vehicle reportedly was burglarized sometime between 2 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Oct. 26 in the 3600 block of Touhy Avenue.

Oct. 25

• A residence in the 4600 block of Washington Street reportedly was burglarized sometime between 11 a.m. on Oct. 25 and 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 27.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 12:30 p.m. and 1:05 p.m. on Oct. 25 in the 9200 block of Tripp Avenue.

Oct. 23

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime around 5:37 p.m. on Oct. 23 in the 8500 block of Karlov Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime around 1:34 a.m. on Oct. 23 in the 5000 block of Estes Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 4:30 a.m. and 5:36 a.m. on Oct. 23 in the 9400 block of Lotus Avenue.

Oct. 21

• Parts or accessories reportedly were stolen from a car around 4:35 a.m. on July 29 in the 5200 block of George Street.

Oct. 20

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime around 5:41 p.m. on Oct. 20 in the 9500 block of Keeler Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime around 9:19 a.m. on Oct. 20 in the 9300 block of Keeler Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 7:15 a.m. and 8:03 a.m. on Oct. 20 in the 9400 block of Skokie Boulevard.

• A car reportedly was burglarized between 6:15 a.m. and 7:25 a.m. on Oct. 20 in the 5200 block of Touhy Avenue.

Oct. 19

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 19 and 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 20 in the 9400 block of Tripp Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 6 p.m. on Oct. 19 and 1 p.m. on Oct. 20 in the 9400 block of Lowell Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized around 9:03 p.m. on Oct. 19 in the 4400 block of Palma Plaza.

Oct. 18

• A building reportedly was burglarized around 12:04 p.m. on Oct. 18 in the 9700 block of Woods Drive.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between Oct. 14-18 in the 7500 block of Kedvale Avenue.

Oct. 17

• A person reportedly was robbed around 3:09 p.m. on Oct. 17 in the 4500 block of Keeney Street.

• A burglary reportedly occurred around 7:16 a.m. on Oct. 17 to a building in the 3300 block of Main Street.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 9:15 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. on Oct. 17 in the 9400 block of Skokie Boulevard.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 5:35 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 17 in the 3600 block of Touhy Avenue.

Oct. 15

• A car reportedly was burglarized overnight in the 8000 block of Kilpatrick Avenue.

Oct. 14

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 10 a.m. on Oct. 14 and 6 p.m. on Oct. 18 in the 7500 block of Kedvale Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 2-4 p.m. on Oct. 14 in the 3600 block of Touhy Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between 5:37 a.m. and 10:18 a.m. on Oct. 14 in the 8300 block of Harding Avenue.
