Police Reports: Vehicle burglaries, e-scooter theft

The following reports were pulled from the latest incident summaries provided by law enforcement departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe).

WILMETTE

Aug. 16

• Jewelry reportedly was discovered missing from a home in the 300 block of Beverly Drive.

Aug. 14

• A piece of jewelry reportedly was taken from a home in the 2300 block of Iroquois Road.

Aug. 12

• A credit card and other items reportedly were taken from an unlocked car in the 1600 block of Elmwood Avenue.

WINNETKA

Aug. 16

• Cash and sunglasses reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in the 500 block of Hill Terrace.

• At least three unlocked cars reportedly were illegally entered overnight between the 500 block of Meadow Road and 400 block of Cedar Street.

GLENCOE

Aug. 7

• An unlocked vehicle reportedly was illegally entered overnight in the 1000 block of Elm Ridge Drive.

• An unlocked vehicle reportedly was illegally entered overnight in the 1000 block of Bluff Road.

HIGHLAND PARK

Aug. 17

• An unlocked electric scooter reportedly was stolen from outside the front entrance to Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.

NORTHFIELD

Aug. 16

• A vehicle reportedly fled during police’s attempt to pull the car over after identifying that the car allegedly was used in a crime in Vernon Hills.

• Numerous items reportedly were stolen from the front yard of a home in the 200 block of Avon Avenue.

KENILWORTH
