Police Reports: Arrests for identity theft, retail theft; stolen car

The following reports were pulled from the latest incident summaries provided by law enforcement departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth, Glencoe and Skokie).

WILMETTE

Oct. 1

• An individual was arrested for alleged identify theft that was reported on April 16.

Sept. 30

• An individual was arrested for alleged retail theft on July 24 at a business in the 3200 block of Lake Avenue.

WINNETKA

No incidents reported between Sept. 30-Oct 5 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.

GLENCOE

No incidents reported between Sept. 23-30 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.

HIGHLAND PARK

Oct. 4

• Merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.

Sept. 29

• Merchandise reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.

Sept. 28

• A car reportedly was stolen on Sept. 21 from a driveway in the 1600 block of Cavell Avenue.

NORTHFIELD

No reported incidents by press time.

KENILWORTH

No reported incidents between Sept. 25-Oct. 2.

SKOKIE

Oct. 1

• A car reportedly was burglarized in the 9200 block of Lavergne Avenue on Oct. 1.

• A car reportedly was burglarized in the 8900 block of Lamon Avenue on Oct. 1.

Sept. 30

• Police reportedly recovered a stolen car in the 10000 block of Lamon Avenue on Sept. 30.

Sept. 29

• Police arrested a 22-year-old woman on Sept. 29 for an alleged aggravated battery to a peace officer in the 8900 block of Lamon Avenue.

• A car reportedly was burglarized in the 5000 block of Touhy Avenue on Sept. 29.

Sept. 28

• A car reportedly was burglarized in the 9600 block of Skokie Boulevard on Sept. 28.

• A car reportedly was stolen from the 9200 block of Avers Avenue on Sept. 28.
