Jackie Ryder singled and drove in the Trevians’ lone run in their league loss on Thursday, April 23, in Winnetka.

Greg Campitelli struck out four over five-plus innings on the mount for New Trier, which suffered a sweep and their fifth straight loss.

Providence 13, Loyola 12

Rob Clingan homered and Mark Atwood tallied three hits and two RBI in the Ramblers road loss on Thursday, April 23, in New Lenox.

Highland Park 18, Maine East 1

Simon Rose bashed a grand slam as the Giants (12-3, 5-0) earned a CSL North victory on Thursday, April 24.

Simon Rose tossed a two-hit shutout for the Giants on Wednesday, April 22.

Glenbrook North 4, New Trier 0

Luke Mastros and Jackie Ryder doubled for the Trevians on Tuesday, April 21, in Northbrook.

Peter Lafontaine drove in three runs with a seventh-inning double to give the host Ramblers a dramatic victory on Tuesday, April 21, in Glenview.

Bennet Kono reached base four times and scored three runs for Loyola.

Mason Bloom singled and scored, while Jackie Ryder had a double and two hits for the Trevians on Monday, April 20, in Winnetka.

Gustav Crane earned the win on the mount for the Giants, allowing just two hits over six innings, on Monday, April 20, in Highland Park.

Loyola 11, De la Salle 10

Peter Lafontaine delivered a walk-off single to complete a 4-for-5 day for the Ramblers on Saturday, April 18, in Glenview.

Bennet Kono added three hits and Mark Atwood two for Loyola.

Sofia Norbot tripled and drove in two runs to power the Trevians to a CSL South victory on Thursday, April 23, in Winnetka.

Lyla Andelin added three hits and three runs scored for New Trier (8-4).

Sophia Pamula and Abby Murphy had a home run apiece, but the host Ramblers came up just short on Thursday, April 23, in Glenview.

Chloe Takacs notched three hits for Loyola (8-7-1).

Chloe Takacs recorded a pair of hits for the host Ramblers on Tuesday, April 21, in Glenview.

Brooke Zabel, Quinn Brahm and Katherine Shean each found the net as the visiting Trevians downed the previously unbeaten Warriors in CSL South play Tuesday, April 21.

Evie Kroeger scored four times to power the Panthers in the win on Tuesday, April 21, in Wilmette.

New Trier 2, Libertyville 1 (PK: 3-1)

Noa Boeing scored in overtime and the Trevians won the match in a shootout on Saturday, April 18, to claim the Lou Malnati’s Deep Dish Classic championship.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL
New Trier 25-25, Evanston 19-19

The Trevians improved to 9-4 overall and 4-0 in the CSL South with the league win on Thursday, April 23, in Evanston.

New Trier 25-20-25, Glenbrook North 15-25-20 (April 21)

Brother Rice 25-22-25, Loyola 23-25-20

Luke Malles and Drew Bevan recorded 10 kills apiece, while Aldis Kins passed out 30 assists for the Ramblers (16-4) on Tuesday, April 21.

Tiger Classic

Aldis Kins was selected for the All-Tournament Team after helping Loyola Academy to a third-place finish on Saturday, April 18, and 4-1 record in the tournament at Wheaton-Warrenville South High School.

Drew Bevan had 6 kills and Kins 14 assists in the Ramblers 25-17, 25-17 third-place victory against Plainfield North.

Loyola beat Lane Tech in the quarterfinals before falling to Marist in the semifinals.

GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD
Jody Gitelis Invitational

Sofia Cotroneo finished second in the triple jump and fourth in long jump, while Georgia Burne was third in the 100-meter hurdles for New Trier, which placed third of 12 teams in the invite on Friday, April 17.

Caxy Clash

Alexis Simon placed first in the shot put and Niamh Byrne second in the 800-meter run to lead Regina Dominican to second place at the meet on Tuesday, April 21, in Lake Forest.

The Panthers added second-place finishes in the 800 and 3,200 relays.

BOYS TRACK AND FIELD
New Trier Lawn Chair Invitational

Miles Lyons won the 200- and 400-meter runs, Martin Issa the 800, Nicolas Hampton the 3,200 and Colin Hirschle the 300 hurdles as the host Trevians topped the four-team field on Saturday, April 18.
