Police Reports: Car theft, garage break-in and bike theft

The following reports were pulled from the latest incident summaries provided by law enforcement departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth, Glencoe and Skokie).

WILMETTE

Feb. 21

• An unlocked car reportedly was stolen overnight in the 800 block of Sheridan Road. The car was later located in Chicago, where police had it towed, the report says.

WINNETKA

Feb. 22

• A rear car window reportedly was damaged while the vehicle was parked in a garage in the 1000 block of Sunset Road. Entry reportedly was made to the house and garage.

GLENCOE

No reported incidents between Feb. 11-18 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.

HIGHLAND PARK

NORTHFIELD

KENILWORTH

Feb. 18

• A locked bicycle reportedly was stolen between 3:08-3:15 p.m. from the Kenilworth Metra station bike rack, 400 Richmond Road.

SKOKIE

Feb. 17

• A building reportedly was burglarized sometime between Feb. 16-17 in the 3800 block of Main Street.

Feb. 13

• A car reportedly was burglarized sometime between Feb. 7-13 in the 8300 block of Tripp Avenue.
