New Trier 84, Farragut 49

The Trevians (17-6) picked up their fourth straight victory on Monday, Jan. 26, in Winnetka.

Loyola 70, St. Ignatius 57

Sam Golden scored 24 points and Brody Munsey-Johnson 21 in the Ramblers Jesuit Cup win on Sunday, Jan. 25, in Chicago.

Trey Williams recorded 7 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists and 3 steals for Loyola (18-5).

New Trier 82, Oswego East 51

Danny Houlihan scored 28 points to lead the Trevians to victory in the When Sides Collide shootout on Saturday, Jan. 24, at Benet Academy.

Denym Wallace chipped in 13 points for New Trier.

Highland Park 45, Buffalo Grove 43

Gray Kanter tallied 21 points to lead the Giants to the nonconference victory on the road Saturday, Jan. 24, in Buffalo Grove.

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Loyola 67, Glenbrook South 50

The Ramblers buried their local rival on senior night on Wednesday, Jan. 28, in Wilmette.

Highland Park 72, Leyden 67 (2OT)

The Giants collected the hard-fought victory on the road Monday, Jan. 26, in Franklin Park.

New Trier 56, Deerfield 31

The Trevians earned the conference victory on senior night Saturday, Jan. 24, celebrating Katie Kelly, Grace Bowie, Avery Schecter and Annikki Jurva.

Loyola 49, St. Ignatius 39

Marycait Mackie hit four three-pointers on her way to a game-high 17 points as the Ramblers claimed the Jesuit Cup on Sunday, Jan. 25, in Chicago.

Emily Naraky and Maddie Locke chipped in 11 and 10 points, respectively, for Loyola.

GIRLS WRESTLING
Central Suburban League championships

Sunny Aitzemkour, a junior, won her bracket to earn a league title for New Trier on Saturday, Jan. 24, at Niles North High School.

Isabella Castro, Molly Zeidler and Zmorah Izenstark were all third-place finishers for the Trevians.

BOYS WRESTLING
Central Suburban League championships

Tommy Tures and Will Weedon placed second in their respective weight classes to lead New Trier on Saturday, Jan. 24.

Cooper Kemnitz added a third-place finish, while Travis Leondson and George Kaup each nabbed fourth place for the Trevians.

GYMNASTICS
Deerfield 128.05, Highland Park 122.45

Maddyn Cohen won the beam (8.8) and floor exercise (8.5) for the Giants on Wednesday, Jan. 28.

Carmel 145, New Trier 137.9, Maine South 135.05

Anna Virgili won the uneven bars (9.4) and Elena Scarano tied for second on floor exercise (9.2) in the tri-meet on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
