Police Reports: Home burglaries in Wilmette and Winnetka

The following reports were pulled from the latest police summaries provided by departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Highland Park, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe).

WILMETTE

May 2

• Items reportedly were stolen from a home in the 600 block of Illinois Road.

May 1

• Several items reportedly were stolen between 5-9:30 p.m. from a home in the 2500 block of Greenleaf Avenue.

April 30

• A resident’s wallet reportedly was stolen from a driveway in the 1200 block of Middlebury Lane.

April 28

• An item reportedly was thrown through a window of a building in the 800 block of Green Bay Road.

• Several items reportedly were stolen from an unlocked car in the 2800 block of Blackhawk Road.

• Tools reportedly were stolen from a construction site in the 2000 block of Schiller Avenue.

WINNETKA

May 1

• More than $5,000 in jewelry reportedly was stolen between 4:30-6 p.m. from a home in the 500 block of Cedar Street.

GLENCOE

April 28

• A diaper bag with a wallet reportedly was stolen from a car after its window was broken out at Glencoe Beach, 55 Hazel Ave.

HIGHLAND PARK

April 28

• Approximately $700 reportedly was stolen from Target, 2099 Skokie Valley Road.

NORTHFIELD

No reported incidents between April 30-May 4 that meet The Record’s standards for publication.

KENILWORTH

No incidents reported between April 25-May 2.
