Motorist takes out Dwyer Park sign in Winnetka

A car crashed into the monument sign at Winnetka’s Dwyer Park on Saturday afternoon.

No injuries were reported in the crash, according to the Winnetka Police Department, which responded to the scene after 2 p.m. Saturday, May 3.

According to the Village of Winnetka, the incident was an accident, as a motorist accelerated through the landscaping and into the sign.

The car was towed from the scene.
