A man pulled from a swimming pool in Glencoe on Sunday was pronounced dead, according to Glencoe Public Safety and the Lake County Coroner’s Office.

David Stein, 75, of Glencoe, died from a “medical event” he suffered while in the residential pool in the 300 block of Old Green Bay Road, said Stephen Newton, with the coroner’s office.

Stein was unresponsive when he was removed from the pool around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, June 2, according to a previous report from The Record

First responders attempted life-saving efforts, but he was still unresponsive when he was transported to Highland Park Hospital, according to Glencoe Public Safety.
