Luke Weber struck out 15 in a four-hit shutout for the Giants (4-0) on Tuesday, March 19.

Edwardsville 5, New Trier 3

Max Kaplan struck out 6 and allowed just one run through five innings of work for the Trevians on Saturday, March 16.

Aidan Nolan homered for New Trier.

Highland Park 10, Taft 0

Ben Lichtenfeld tossed six innings of no-hit ball for the Giants in the nonconference victory on Saturday, March 16.

Trent Harradine had three hits and 4 RBI for Highland Park.

New Trier 9, Collinsville 5

James Novakovic drove in three runs and Evan Olesker two for the Trevians on Friday, March 15.

Henrik Conniff struck out five through three innings of work for New Trier.

Niles North 17, Regina 7

Lily Grillo collected two hits and two RBI for the Panthers on Tuesday, March 19.

Regina 18, Woodlands 5

Ella Grillo tagged two home runs and finished with 5 RBI for the Panthers on Friday, March 15.

Stella Ozenbaugh added three hits and Izzie Christensen a home run for Regina.

GIRLS SOCCER
New Trier 6, St. Ignatius 0

Jaime Elias scored twice for the second straight game to lead on Thursday, March 21.

Charlotte Dellin, Josie Noble, Basie Shannon and Addy Randall tallied a goal apiece for New Trier.

Evanston 3, Highland Park 1

Mia Evans found the net for the Giants (3-2) in their league crossover match on Thursday, March 21.

Highland Park 2, Carmel 0

The Giants picked up a nonconference victory on Tuesday, March 19.

New Trier 5, Carmel 0

Jaime Elias recorded two goals to lead the Trevians (3-0) to the nonconference victory on Saturday, March 16.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL
New Trier 25-25, Barrington 19-19

The Trevians moved to 2-0 with the sweep of the Broncos on Thursday, March 21.

Loyola 25-28, Niles West 15-26
Loyola 25-25, Notre Dame 16-18

Jack Lopez and Liam Uruba racked up 16 kills apiece across the doubleheader sweep for the Ramblers on Wednesday, March 20, in Wilmette.

New Trier 26-25, Libertyville 24-13

The Trevians picked up a straight-set win on opening night on Monday, March 18.

Loyola 25-29, Warren 17-27

Liam Uruba racked up 10 kills and 5 blocks to lead the Ramblers on Monday, March 18, in Wilmette.

Jack Lopez recorded 13 kills, Nathan Chi 21 assists and Stef Kins 15 digs for Loyola.

GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD
CSL indoor championships

Gaby Manzano won the 50-meter dash, 200 run, long jump and triple jump in leading New Trier to the team title in the South division on Saturday, March 16.

Grace Gallagher (shot put), Anna Rivera (800), Lahey Cahill (55 hurdles) and Josie Cahill (1,600) added wins for the Trevians.

In the North division, Grace Welhouse finished first in the 55 hurdles to lead Highland Park to a second-place result.

BOYS TRACK AND FIELD
CSL indoor championships

Tucker Angelmeyer (400), Walter Garrett (1,600) and Frank Youkhana (shot put) won events for New Trier, which placed second as a team behind Glenbrook South in the South division on Saturday, March 16.

Shamar Wilson (50), Lukaas Nales (400), Zach Coren (800), Nate Wehner (3,200) and Russell Czerwinski (high jump) picked up event wins to as Highland Park won the North division.
