2023 Looking Back: The Record’s top photos of the year

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then set aside some time to review this photo story.

Every passing year delivers a range of emotions through moments that move us, in some way or another. Photojournalism captures those moments and allows us to better hold on to them.

We went back through the year and pulled out some of the best examples of that dynamic. Enjoy.
