Local schools celebrate college-bound student-athletes on signing day

Notre Dame, UCLA, Wisconsin, Illinois are just some of the storied institutions that will benefit from talented student-athletes from The Record’s coverage area.

And it’s not just the schools that are diverse; the sports in which the student-athletes compete is just as wide-ranging. From baseball and basketball to equestrian and girls wrestling, numerous activities give the local competitors a chance to take their skills to the next level.

More than 60 student-athletes were honored by their high schools and coaches on Wednesday, Nov. 8, one of the year’s annual college signing days. See them all below.
