Julia York, Lauren Schrantz and Ellen Gundlach tallied 5 kills apiece in the Ramblers’ nonconference win Wednesday, Aug. 30, in Evanston.

Plainfield North Tournament

Ellen Gundlach had 9 kills and Reilly Garrity 5 kills and 2 aces in Loyola Academy’s final game of the tournament on Saturday, Aug. 26, a 25-20, 25-21 victory over Lincoln-Way West.

The Ramblers won the bronze division and finished 3-2 in the tourney.

Emma Bevenour and Kate Ludden won a dramatic 7-6, 5-6, 10-7 match at top doubles to help the visiting Panthers to victory on Wednesday, Aug. 30.

Elizabeth Ingraffia and Eve Nathaus also picked up a clutch win (4-6, 7-6, 10-6) at second doubles for Regina.
