Schools honor prep athletes during signing-day ceremonies
Local student-athletes are taking their talents all over the country and were celebrated for doing so during ceremonies on Wednesday, Nov. 10, one of several national signing dates for college-bound athletes.
Nov. 10 is the initial signing day for most sports, including baseball, lacrosse, softball and volleyball. Other dates include April 13 and May 18, 2022 (basketball); Dec. 15 and 17, Feb. 2 and April 1 (football); and Aug. 1 (all sports)
New Trier High School and Loyola Academy congratulated a combined 37 student-athletes during events on Nov. 10.
