Mia McGrath recorded eight kills and Molly Power had four blocks to lead Loyola Academy past Lane Tech 25-8, 25-15 on Aug. 24 in the Crimson Classic hosted by Plainfield North and South high schools.

Will Leber earned medalist honors with his 73 as New Trier finished second as a team with a 305, just one stroke behind invite champ Glenbrook North on Monday, Aug. 23, at Inverness Golf Club.

Myles Cunningham chipped in a 76, and Alex Felicione and Charlie Colegrove shot 78 each for the Trevians.

Ryan Banas shot a 35 to lead the visiting Ramblers to the nonconference win Monday, Aug. 23, at the Evanston Golf Club.

New Trier 147, Glenbrook South 186

Amy Beanblossom shot a match-low 35 to lead four Trevians under 40 in the dual-meet win Monday, Aug. 23.

Peyton Sichol (36), Carter Sichol (37) and Siara Patel (39) also scored for visiting New Trier.

Carter Sichol’s 37 led the way for the Trevs in the nonconference loss Saturday, Aug. 20.
