Police Reports: Bike stolen and graffiti found

These reports were pulled from police summaries provided by departments in our coverage area (Wilmette, Winnetka, Northfield, Kenilworth and Glencoe) during the week of Sunday-Saturday, May 9-16.


May 10

Graffiti was reportedly found by police at the Community Recreation Center’s skate park, 3000 Glenview Road.

May 9

Two train cars at the Linden Avenue station were reportedly spray-painted with graffiti.


May 16

A bicycle was reported stolen from 1110 Chatfield Road between May 14-16. The reported loss is $800.


May 13

A resident’s credit card reportedly was used unlawfully to make two purchases. The investigation is ongoing.
