Wilmette Police Reports: Bicycle and bicycle-part theft, more

Sept. 25

• Someone in the 3600 block of Lake Avenue reported that between 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 23 and 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 24 unknown offender(s) spray painted several words and pictures on a storage garage.

Sept. 26

• A complainant in the 1100 block of Greenleaf Avenue reported that between 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 25 and 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 26 an unknown offender defaced property in the condo building with a red marker.

Sept. 28

• An unlocked bike was reportedly stolen from the 700 block of Michigan Avenue between 8:40 p.m. on Sept. 27 and 11:40 a.m. on Sept. 28.

• Bike parts were reportedly stolen from a locked-up bike in the 300 block of Linden Avenue between 4 p.m. on Sept. 26 and 7 a.m. on Sept. 27.

• Money was reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3100 block of Sprucewood Lane sometime between 6 p.m. on Sept. 27 and 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 28.
