New Trier 89, Bloomington 49

Chris Kirkpatrick finished with 13 points on 5-of-5 shooting in the Trevians’ rout Thursday, Dec. 28, in the opening round of the Pontiac Holiday Tournament.

Maks DePalo added 12 points and 6 rebounds for New Trier.

Loyola 43, Seminole (Florida) 21

Miles Boland scored 7 points and recorded 7 steals to help the Ramblers to a second-round victory in the Holiday Hoopfest Thursday, Dec. 28, in Florida.

Donovan Robinson (10 points) and Jimmy Tarjan (9 points) led the way offensively for Loyola.

Andrew 43, Highland Park 35

Simon Moschin and Brett Karman scored 11 points apiece in the Giants’ third game of the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic on Thursday, Dec. 28, in Elmhurst

Loyola 41, Fort Myers 27

Donovan Robinson tallied 11 points with 4 steals and Jimmy Tarjan added 5 steals as the Ramblers won the opener of the Holiday Hoopfest on Wednesday, Dec. 27, in Florida.

Downers Grove North 71, Highland Park 30

Simon Moshin scored a game-high 18 points for the Giants on Tuesday, Dec. 26, in their first game of the Jack Tosh Holiday Classic at York High School.

Stevenson 46, New Trier 37

The Trevians dropped the semifinal tilt in the Komaromy Classic on Thursday, Dec. 28, in Dundee.

Loyola 51, Carmel 18

With the victory on Thursday, Dec. 29, in Wilmette, the Ramblers moved to 17-0 on the season and into the championship game of the inaugural Loyola holiday tournament.

Regina 39, Waukegan 21

Jillian DeFranza posted 21 points to lead the Panthers to their third win in their Snowflake Shootout on Thursday, Dec. 28, in Wilmette.

New Trier 47, St. Charles North 45

Sela Klein scored 26 points, including 18 in the second half, as the Trevians erased a double-digit deficit in the second round of the Komaromy Classic on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at Dundee-Crown High School.

Reese Leahy added 9 points and 10 rebounds and Anna Rivera 10 rebounds for New Trier.

Loyola 69, Lockport 41

The Ramblers cruised to the quarterfinal victory in their host tournament on Wednesday, Dec. 27.

New Trier 55, Lake Forest 32

Sela Klein scored 12 points and Anna Rivera 11 when the Trevs opened the 40th Annual Komaromy Classic with a win on Tuesday, Dec. 26.

KJ Sacarro finished with 7 points and 6 assists, while Rivera added 6 steals for New Trier.

Loyola 70, Jones Prep 15

Paige Engels and Aubrey Galvan each scored to eclipse 1,000 high school points during the Ramblers’ win on Tuesday, Dec. 26, at Loyola.

GIRLS GYMNASTICS
New Trier 139.2, Glenbrook North 137.25

Clara Crossgrove won the all-around competition (36 points), as well as the floor exercise (9.1) and uneven bars (9.35, tied with teammate Anabel Sturgis) on Friday, Dec. 22.
